Scugog has been good to me so far this year. The most productive trip so far was in late January

The temperature was hovering around minus 14 or so, up to 30 with the wind. I was glad for the fish trap and portable heater. By 10 am I was ready to head back home. I already had 2 nice walleye and a pair of decent perch. Perfect for a tasty lunch.

The first weekend in Febuary was beautiful. 10+ deg. and sunny. Came home with a tan. but barley any action out on the ice.

The trophy fish of the day went to Me with a wopping 4oz perch.
